What is Vitrix?

Vitex Agnus Castus
Also known as monk’s pepper, vitex agnus castus has been used as a natural tonic and healing agent dating back to Ancient Greece. Vitux agnus castus has been documented to exert anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, but more pertinent to its inclusion in Vitrix, the plant also exerts pro-testosterone effects as it inhibits prolactin release.
Avena Sativa
Avena sativa (oat straw) is popular amongst biohackers these days for its cognitive enhancing effects, but we were wise to the ingredient well over a decade ago. Within the plant reside powerful compounds called avenacosides, which promotes greater release of luteinizing hormone (LH).
In case you weren’t aware, luteinizing hormone is the hormone in the body responsible for stimulating the production of testosterone.
In this manner, Avena sativa exerts similar activity to Tribulus Terrestris (in that they both increase luteinizing hormone), which is why we’ve combined them in Vitrix.
Epimedium
When it comes to maximizing testosterone production, not only is it important to utilize ingredients that help directly stimulate testosterone production, but also ingredients that support it indirectly by reducing certain “bad” estrogens in the body.
That’s where Epimedium (horny goat weed) comes in.
Epimedium is a type of ground shrub indigenous to Asia that has been noted to exert anti-estrogenic activity, thereby promoting greater testosterone levels. And, it may also help combat erectile dysfunction, too!
